How It Works

Ready to learn about how we'll work together? I am committed to ensuring transparency into our process so there are no surprises and we can work as efficiently and effectively as possible. Working with Haven Organizing is designed to be simple, collaborative, and tailored to your home and lifestyle. From the first conversation to the final reset, the goal is to create functional systems that make everyday life easier.

Step #1
Start with a Call or Website Inquiry Form 

Begin by filling out the inquiry form or scheduling a call with Katherine, founder of Haven Organizing.

 

During this conversation we will:

​

  • Discuss the areas of your home you'd like to organize

  • Talk through your goals and challenges

  • Determine the best approach for your project

  • Schedule your in-person consult
     

​This step ensures every project begins with a clear plan tailored to your home.​

Step #2
In-Person Consultion

Next, Katherine will visit your home to walk through the spaces you’d like to organize.

 

During the consultation we will:

​

  • Assess the layout and storage opportunities

  • Identify what isn’t currently working

  • Discuss your priorities and daily routines

  • Outline a plan for your organizing session

  • Recommend potential organizing solutions

 

This step allows us to design systems that truly work for your home and lifestyle.

Step #3
Hands-on Organizing Session(s)

During your session, we work together to transform the space.

 

This process typically includes:

​

  • Sorting and decluttering

  • Identifying what stays in the space

  • Creating functional zones

  • Implementing organizing systems

  • The goal is to create systems that are both functional and easy to maintain.

Step #4
Product sourcing & Recommendations

Thoughtful storage solutions can make a big difference in how well a system functions. When helpful, Haven Organizing will recommend organizing products that maximize your space and support the systems we create.

Product solutions may include:

​

  • Storage bins and baskets

  • Drawer dividers

  • Clear containers

  • Shelf risers and organizers

  • Labels and specialty storage solutions

 

Recommendations are always tailored to your space, style, and budget. Clients are welcome to purchase products themselves, or Haven Organizing can assist with sourcing options that fit your needs.

Step #5
Coordinate Donations (IF APPLICABLE)

  • Client reviews donations

  • Katherine drops-off donations at client's preferred donation site

Step #6
Maintain & Enjoy Your Organized Home

Once systems are in place, your home will be easier to maintain and reset. Many clients choose to schedule periodic refresh sessions to keep key spaces running smoothly as routines and seasons change.
